According to a post from the official Merle Haggard Facebook page, it reports that he is currently hospitalized, and shows have been postponed.
The official post stated:
Due to pneumonia, MERLE HAGGARD has checked into a CA hospital, forcing him to postpone his next few tour dates. Those shows include last night in Palm Desert, tonight in Riverside. Friday in Oakland and Saturday in Wendover. However, he hopes to be well enough to play his dates in Las Vegas, NV, Beverly Hills and Lemore, CA next week.
