Funeral arrangements have been set for Grand Ole Opry member Little Jimmy Dickens, who passed away Jan. 2.
A public visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Woodlawn Roesch Patton (660 Thompson Lane, Nashville) from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m.
A public celebration of life service will be held Thursday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Grand Ole Opry House (2804 Opryland Drive, Nashville). Friends, family and the public are welcome at both events.
Dickens was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1983. Among his enduring classics are “Take An Old Cold Tater (And Wait),” “Country Boy,” “Out Behind The Barn,” and “May The Bird Of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose.”
