In a personal message to his fans, Garth Brooks announced today he will be canceling his promotional appearances due to events happening across the country, specifically relating to Ferguson, MO. Here is Garth’s message:
“We landed in NY last night to the news of the civil unrest that was going on in our nation. To spend the day promoting our stuff like nothing was wrong, seemed distasteful to me. I will gladly reschedule any or all appearances the networks will allow.
Love one another…g”
Brooks, with wife and fellow artist Trisha Yearwood, continues his world tour and has scheduled appearances in St. Louis, MO Dec. 4, 5, 6, and 7. Additional dates are scheduled in Tulsa, OK, Little Rock, AR, and Boston, MA, with more to come. His latest album, “Man Against Machine,” was released Nov. 11 when he was in the midst of a 11-run leg of his tour at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN.
