As many of you know, Benton Blount is not only a good friend of ours here at MinnesotaCountry.com, but a supporter of all that we do here as well. With that said, of course we’re promoting him while he’s on TV, and helping to get people to vote for him on America’s Got Talent this Tuesday night as he’ll be live on NBC! There’s no doubt we’re behind him 110%, but we want to give you a few reasons why we think you should vote for Benton Blount on America’s Got Talent too! You can take our word the following list is sincere, truthful, and done so as an honest and simple way to help gain your support for Benton all around the country!
Here is the MinnesotaCountry.com list of reasons of why we think you should support Benton Blount 110% as we do! These are in no specific order, just a bunch of truth and facts layed out in a nice list for you to check out.
1. Passionate: When it comes to singing, performing, and fan interaction what you see is what you get. Benton is a truly passionate man who has the drive to do whatever it takes to make it in the music business, His passion shines through daily to friends and fiends around the word. You can see exactly what we mean at the end of this list.
2. Gentle Giant: Standing tall at 6 foot 2 inches, and weighing in at 270 lbs many would expect him to be a bouncer at a nightclub. That’s not the case as he’s a loving father and husband, stay at home dad with a passion for writing and singing country music and being there for his family.
3. Considerate: We’ve been watching Benton’s videos on Facebook, Periscope, talking to him over the phone, etc since before any of this even came about. He is a considerate man and wants nothing but the best for everybody. One big example is how he supports his competition by always saying how talented they are as well. In 2015 you don’t see that everyday. He’ll flat out tell you there is some very tough competition, and win or lose his only focus is to get out on that stage and give the best performance he can. By knowing he did his best, he knows no matter what happens, he did just that and will hold his head high regardless.
4. Fans Are Friends: Benton has said this on many occasions to his many fans, “Fans are friends”. Before America’s Got Talent, during, and after he does the bast he can to communicate with his fans as if they were all best friends. We find this very unique, because being in the business ourselves, we see artists on a smaller level all the way up to the top who forget who their friends are. While their forgetting who theirs are, Benton does the best to actual become friends with many of his. If you follow him on Twitter, Facebook, Periscope, etc, you’ff see this shine through like we have over he years and still to this day.
6. Talent: On the last round of Americas Got Talent, the “judge cuts”, this big man stood there with his guitar as passionate as can be, and belted out a DOLLY PARTON tune that many of you know titled, “Jolene”. WOW, WOW, WOW…that’s just the most recent example of where his talent has shined through, but we get the chills watching that video clip STILL!
7. Beard: If you’re a fan of beards, you should be a fan of Benton’s. As busy as he’s been getting ready for Tuesday night, the man is making sure his beard will be looking it’s best on TV that night.
8. Chuck Taylor’s: Yes, his shoes. After hitting TV on Americas Got Talent, he’s quickly becoming known for is layed back attitude, voice, and his shoes! Well, with your vote hopefully he’ll win and be able to go out and get his already popular son Jaxon a matching pair too!
9. Thankful: Benton is one of the most thankful guys we know. He’s quick to show thanks and appreciation to those who are there for him with whatever it may be. As an example, he has no clue we’re writing this up and are going to post it without him even knowing. He will certainly see it online, read through the whole thing, and we’ll get a call or text message giving thanks. This is not why we do it at all, we just know Benton, and no matter how busy he is, and he’s very busy in New York right now, he’ll send his thanks without a doubt. The same goes for those who give him their vote on Tuesday, share articles like this, pictures, tell friends, etc. He will thank you some how or another, we just know it.
10. Mamma: Benton’s loving wife Ashley will be in the crowd on Tuesday with their son Jaxon. Benton really needs to win this thing! As it goes with any of the mamma’s out there…if mamma’s not happy, nobody’s happy! So be sure to vote for Benton this Tuesday night!
