Rising country duo LOCASH is back at the top of the charts, but this time with their own hit single “I Love This Life” at No. 1 on The Music Row Country Breakout Chart. The single also continues to climb the Top 10 of the Billboard Country Airplay chart and landed at No. 31 on iTunes “Best Country Songs of 2015.”
“It’s an honor to see our name in the No. 1 spot on the Music Row Chart! Thank you to all our friends at Country Radio, to our fans listening & requesting out there, and to our team at Reviver Records for making this dream a reality! We are grateful and more motivated than ever,” Preston Brust & Chris Lucas of LOCASH said.
Brust and Lucas penned “I Love This Life,” which is their highest charting single to date. LOCASH released their first EP I Love This Life on their new label Reviver Records, produced by Lindsay Rimes and David Ross.
As songwriters, they’ve celebrated a pair of hit singles with “You Gonna Fly” (by Keith Urban), which topped the charts, and the Top 10 “Truck Yeah” (by Tim McGraw), among others for artists like Joe Nichols, Parmalee and Scotty McCreery.
“It was just a matter of time until Chris and Preston shared their talents as performers with their own hit records at radio. “I Love This Life” is the breakthrough song of 2015 with many more hits to come off of their debut Reviver Records EP. I’m extremely happy for LOCASH and I know that 2016 will be a breakout year for the guys” said David Ross, President and CEO of Reviver Records.
LOCASH is also featured in the latest online syndicated video series, “The Test Drive,” where Preston and Chris cruise through historic Music Row and talk about their brand new album in the must-see episode. You can watch “The Test Drive,” HERE.
The duo just wrapped up a successful run of shows in Las Vegas during Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and will be singing the National Anthem at the Indianapolis Pacers game before their big New Year’s Eve show in Indianapolis, IN. LOCASH is featured in a Billboard Country article highlighting their first Top 10 single, and made Rolling Stone’s “Top 25 Best Country Songs of 2015” coming in at number 23 with “I Love This Life.”
