Over the years we at MinesotaCountry.com have worked very close with The Rowdy Cowboy Show, bringing you events like the annual Jack Friday Concert, and many more! Well, one of the owners of The Rowdy Cowboy Show (Shayne Michael) has been dealing with some serious health issues lately, and we knew there had to be a few ways we could help show our support other than just sending our daily thoughts and prayers his way.
Shayne is dealing with cancer and has been undergoing rigorous treatments for it over the past couple of months. With a family to support, medical and household bills stacking up as he’s unable to work, we among many others have offered to step up to be there throughout his fight with cancer, and to show nothing but our full support for him and his family during this time.
With that said, we have been using our social media outlets to help drive our great fans to show their support for Shayne, and help in any way they can.
We don’t have much here at MinnesotaCountry.com, but when a friend is in need, we do what we can to step up, and help out.
We’ve reached out to our friends at Rockwoods JamFest located at the Rockwoods Bar & Grill in Otsego, MN, and without hesitation, when we asked if we could use some tickets for the benefit, they said no problem at all! This Sunday, June 28th a huge benefit for Shayne will take place at The Dog House Bar & Grill in Maplewood, MN from 2-8pm. The event will feature bands like Maiden Dixie, Arena, Uncle Chunk, and The Devon Worley Band!
The cost is only $10 at the door with all proceeds benefiting Shayne, there will be food available for purchase also benefiting Shayne, and plenty of door prizes, silent auction items, and raffles throughout the event to benefit Shayne as well!
