The Shane Martin Band will release their brand new video for their single “Grain of Salt” this Tuesday! Lay back and relax for a hot, ocean side get away with this country-Caribbean sound.
“The song is really about taking life with a grain of salt and all its uncertainties,” said Shane. “It’s a relatable tune and I hope fans enjoy the video and song as summer kicks in.”
Initially the band wanted to film the video at a beach bar in Mexico, but there wasn’t enough in the budget to make it happen. So, they took the party to Boondox Bar in Otsego.
Filmed and produced by Elite Media Design, Shane said he had a “blast” filming the video.
“The focal point of the music video is me walking through the bar crowd while playing acoustic guitar while singing the song, and then ending with an all-out sing along party that’s fitting for the song,” said Shane. “The walking through the bar segment was filmed in one take which gives it a very live and in the moment feel.”
The video was also filmed in another location to add to the storyline.
“Grain of Salt” was written with Shane’s writer friends, Jeff Dayton and Zac Wrixon, and recorded at Direct Image Studios in Nashville with Emmy award winning engineer/producer Kenny Royster.

The band looks forward to summer performances at festivals like, Albertville Friendly City Days, B’s on the River Rib Fest, Country in the Hills Festival, and other outdoor performances.
