No case of the Mondays here as the Minnesota State Fair features more great music Monday, Aug. 26.
Lost Highway hits the Bazaar After Dark at 7:30 and 8:45 p.m. both Monday, Aug. 26 and Tuesday, Aug. 27. Since their inception in 2009, Lost Highway has proven themselves to be one of the Upper Midwest region’s top country bands. From opening shows for national acts such as Hank Williams Jr., Clay Walker, and Josh Thompson, to playing outdoor festivals, or playing to capacity crowds in the hottest venues in the area, Lost Highway’s commitment to country music and electrifying crowds is evident every time they hit the stage.
The Farmers Daughters will hit the stage at the Gardens Building on the corner of Dan Patch and Underwood 6-11 p.m. nightly Aug. 26 – 28. The Farmer’s Daughters are a new country band, coming out of the Northeast Metro. TFD is a female fronted 3 piece band. consisting of guitar, bass and percussion. This band is young, animated, and will bring laughter and excitement to any type of atmosphere. Lead singers Lady Jo, and Cindy Jo will have you singing along while they perform the finest tunes from America’s top, female, country, and artists of young and old.
Tim Sigler will do a special solo acoustic set at the Northwoods Stage Monday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. Whether it’s Eric Church, George Strait, Jason Aldean, Johnny Cash, or Luke Bryan, etc— Tim Sigler plays all of your favorite country songs.
Hailed as an “alt-country powerhouse,” Sarah Gayle Meech released her debut CD, “One Good Thing,” last year. Since then, she has been touring the US quickly making a name for herself. Her song “Sound of a Heartbreak” was featured this spring on FX Network’s hit show “Justified.” Meech will perform at Heritage at Sundown Mon., Aug. 26 and Tues., Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.
