Recently we reached out via email to Tricia whose name had been drawn as the winner of a pair of tickets to see country music trio Parmalee live in concert on New Years Eve at Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Her response was one of which we at MinnesotaCountry.com had never seen before See how the full story unfolds below.
When we notified Tricia that she had been randomly drawn as one of the ticket winners to see Parmalee at Grand Casino Mille Lacs on New Years Eve, her reply left us in a state of awe, and thinking at the same time, there truly are “Angels Among Us”.
Her reply goes as follows:
“Oh my gosh you literally made my day!! My sister introduced me to this bands music and we were debating on going to the concert, but she recently passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago… She was so young and loved country music, she introduced me to your website and facebook page… This will be a New Years Eve to remember, thank you so much!!”
Right away we couldn’t help but think this night out was truly meant to be, a gift from her country loving sister who had recently passed. With her permission, and with all of the negative in the world now days, we decided to share this little story that day. You can view it by clicking here.
Within 10 minutes of posting this story on our website, our good friends from Grand Casino got in touch (on a Sunday) and with no hesitation offered up a few things to make this New Years Eve that was meant to be, even more memorable! On top of that, we at MinnesotaCountry.com added to the list of goodies to make this the perfect night out for Tricia and her husband.
Today, Tuesday December 23, 2014 MinnesotaCountry.com Owner/President Brandon G. Wallin had the pleasure of calling her direct to share the great news with Tricia about the night out “that was truly meant to be” and it’s a phone call he’ll never forget.
While the call came somewhat unexpected to Tricia, it’s certainly a phone call she’s glad she answered!
Brandon called to congratulate her again on winning the tickets, and to also explain a few other things. She was so thankful about the tickets themselves, he hardly had a chance to explain the following…
Brandon mentioned numerous times, this was a night meant to be, and was happy to have called to inform her of a few other things as well.
Brandon then began to explain that Grand Casino had stepped up to help make this an even better night out, and that they had arranged the following extras for Tricia and her husband that night. In between each item listed below, Tricia was so extremely grateful, Brandon had a tough time getting to the next item!
Tricia and her husband will now being going backstage to MEET PARMALEE personally before the concert!
They will also enjoy DINNER FOR TWO at Grand Casino Mille Lacs!
They will also have a hotel room at Grand Casino Mille Lacs that night as well!
With all of the excitement during the phone call, Brandon forgot to even mention what MinnesotaCountry.com was giving them!
In an email shortly after, Brandon told Tricia that if she’d like we at MinnesotaCountry.com would like to offer her an individual spot on our “Top Supporter” page, and even a spot in memory of her sister Brianne Grimm. Within no time, thankful as can be Tricia replied that of course she’d love to have her and her sisters name added!

Tricia was surprised she had won tickets in the first place. To find out she will be receiving all of the above as well, left her completely shocked, and in awe over the whole thing! She will most certainly have a New Years Eve to remember, and a night that was truly meant to be perfect.
