Clear Channel’s KAJA/San Antonio PD Travis Moon has been named Sr. Liaison/Programming for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital‘s Radio Development team, based in Nashville.
“Radio is so important to St. Jude, so I get the best of both worlds – working with stations across the country on the Country Cares events throughout the year.” Moon stated.
Moon joined the KAJA/San Antonio station in 2009 after programming WUBE & WYGY/Cincinnati and serving as APD at KEEY/Minneapolis (K102).
In over 19 years now, Travis has helped raise more than $15 million for St. Jude throughout his various jobs. (Way to go Travis, and country radio!)
He’ll relocate in the coming weeks, but is likely to be around the station through next weekend (3/13-14) as KAJA holds its annual Country Cares Radiothon.
You don’t have to wait for a radiothon to help the kids at St. Jude, you can donate anytime by clicking here.
Information via Country Aircheck.
Congratulations from all of us up here in Minnesota Travis!
