This weekend you will notice a major change on the stage for Maiden Dixie at both of their shows. This is a one weekend deal, and you won’t want to miss it!
Maiden Dixie had the need for a fill in this weekend, as band member Jesse Becker will not be at either show. When it came down to it, they needed to find someone to fill his shoes. The band decided on none other than Jesse’s father himself Mr. Jeff Becker. If you compare the picture above with the one below, you will get an idea of the change being made for the weekend.
After seeing Jeff Becker play at Ramble Jam this past summer with his band Two Hicks and a Chick, we can promise you he is sure to please. Jeff has been an avid musician in Minnesota for many years, and has played with a few other great bands in the area as well!
Though the shows this weekend will be a bit different than usual with Jeff filling in, we promise you they will be shows you won’t want to miss!
Jeff posted the following on Facebook earlier this week –
” I am thrilled and a little nervous to announce that I will be filling in for my son Jesse with his killer band Maiden Dixie this weekend for two big shows. They are all schooled musicians and my son is a dynamite singer with a way bigger range than me. Friday we are at Spikes in Faribault and Sat. we are at Toby Keith’s in St. Louis Park. Come on out to harass me but please no rotten tomatoes…”
As he stated above, you can find the band at Spikes in Fairbault, MN on Jan 4, and Toby Keith’s in St. Louis Park on Jan 5. We hope you will all go check out one or both of these shows and support Jeff as he fills his son’s shoes for the weekend.
