The Farmer’s Daughters are set to play the Hillside HOPE Thru Hooves Fundraiser along with line dancing from The Back Road Kickers!
Hillside HOPE Thru Hooves is a highly effective organization using equine therapy as a tool and instrument of change. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Alternative Learning (EAP / EAL), is committed to teaching, guiding, and mentoring those in need. Working with youth, families, adults, and groups to provide a powerful and effective therapeutic and learning alternative. A licensed professional partners with a certified equine specialist to allow life changing experiences through emotional growth and learning to treat behavioral, emotional and communication issues. EAP / EAL is an experiential model. This means the participants learn about themselves and others by participating in “on the ground” activities with the horses and then processing thoughts, beliefs, behaviors and patterns. This is also an effective tool for groups and business’ desiring to learn team building and better ways to communicate. EAP and EAL is based on EAGALA* techniques, and is effective for all ages (Children, Teenagers, Adults, Families, and Groups).
