The Medina Entertainment Center has put together yet another great show you won’t want to miss! The Rowdy Cowboy Show will get the night started playing some of the hottest country music!
The Rowdy Cowboy Show has a thirty-year history and is often regarded as the most fun and exciting country music show in the region. Hosted for the first 29 years by legendary emcee and founding member Tom Katt. In early 2009, Tom handed the reins over to country music personality and current host Shayne Michael. That summer, Kid George teamed up with Shayne Michael and joined The Rowdy Cowboy Show. Over the course of five years they have evolved to the existing format to make it a more modernized and high-energy show. The Rowdy Cowboy Show sees an average of a thousand country fans a week between the ongoing shows, benefits, radio events and other off site promotions. They participate in many benefits and other charitable functions because they believe strongly in community involvement.
Following The Rowdy Cowboy Show, Maiden Dixie will hit the stage!
In the late fall of 2013, the band entered a Nashville recording studio to capture the same sound, the same energy, the same passion that is the hallmark of their live shows. With Jim “Moose” Brown (co-writer of “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere”) in the producer’s chair, Maiden Dixie recorded seven brand new songs. Then with a collection of music that was firmly rooted in country rock, but drawing from the experiences of each member’s unique life story and influences, they headed back out on the road with their new CD entitled Little Black Dress.
Still on the concert trail in support of Little Black Dress, Maiden Dixie is already looking to bring their music to a larger audience. Working with the team at The Music Works and The Thompson Entertainment Group, Maiden Dixie is scheduled to return to the studio this winter to work on a new release that will coincide with the start of their, as yet unnamed, 2015 concert tour.
The Rowdy Cowboy Show is also bringing along their very own Black Labels Dance Team, who will be doing a few special performances just for this show, plus be on the dance floor throughout the night as well!
With all of that said, this will be a great night at The Medina Entertainment Center and you won’t want to miss it!
