Our deepest condolences go out to Loretta Lynn and her family as they mourn the passing of Loretta’s oldest daughter, Betty Sue Lynn.
A representative for Loretta shared a statement from the family announcing that Betty Sue (64) died this morning from complications related to emphysema. She is survived by two daughters and five grandchildren.
Betty Sue is the second of Loretta’s children to precede her in death. In 1984, son Jack Benny Lynn (aged 34) drowned on the family’s property. In 1996, her husband of 48 years, “Doolittle” Lynn, passed away from diabetes.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lynn family.
