Brad Paisley confronted supporters of the Westboro Baptist crew, who are known for their rallies all over the place. Concerts, funerals, and more ar places they frequent, especially when it comes to gaining media attention. We hate to give them any attention at all here at MinnesotaCountry.com, but love how Brad Paisley gave them an unexpected confrontation prior to his show in Bonner Springs, KS on 6-1-14. Brad also shot a few video clips while he was there, you can find those on his social media pages as well.
On film, he didn’t say anything harsh against them at all, but when he posted the above picture on social media, he stated,”Westboro Baptist Selfie!! Or west-Burro(ass) selfie. Hopefully they can hear the show out here. We’ll play loud.”
Good for you Brad, we hope you crank it up extra loud at the show!
In the past, Westboro has had many confrontations with country singers. One that comes to mind is here with Vince Gill, and things went a little differently.
