Our very own MinnesotaCountry.com writer Jackie Ebnet has a bit of a Kip Crush. She whipped this up, and we thought we’d share. If you have a similar artist you do everything possible to see, let us know in the comments below. Now, what she has to say…
My name is Jackie and I have a Kip Moore problem. On Thursday I will be embarking on a three-night concert spree that takes me to Joe’s Bar in Chicago for two nights and then to Mankato, MN, all for the love of Kip! I should also mention that I’ve already traveled to Madison, WI, Noblesville, IN, and Bonner Springs, KS to see Kip & The Slow Hearts this year. What can I say, I dig their energy and passion and there’s nothing like a Kip Moore live show to re-energize your soul! So, being the crazy fan that I am, I’ve put together a list of five things you can expect from a Kip & The Slow Hearts show. Hopefully this will encourage you to catch an upcoming show on his Wild Ones tour this fall because you’ll definitely be missing out on one of the best experiences of your life if you don’t!
Kip Calling You Out If You’re Sitting Down
When I saw Kip in Madison last February there was a rather large section of the balcony that wasn’t on their feet. This did not go over well! Kip put his sassy pants on and called all of them out! Because really, why would you want to be sitting calmly in your seat at a Kip Moore concert?
A Rant About Selfies
Kip Moore is not a fan of the selfie, and his rant about how much he doesn’t like them is hilarious! It’s also spot-on and something everyone should take to heart. Don’t be one of those fans watching the concert through your phone screen.
The “I Don’t Give A Shit Dance”
Kip Moore is famous for this dance move! He usually busts it out after the selfie rant and it’s pretty epic!
One Rocking Party
I sincerely mean it when I say there is nothing like a Kip Moore live show! The passion and emotion you can hear in Kip’s voice in every song will hit you right in the chest and make you feel it in your soul! You’ll laugh, you might cry (I can’t help it, “Running For You” just gets to me), and you’ll leave telling all your friends you want to see Kip & The Slow Hearts again very soon.
One other thing you’ll see at a Kip Moore show is his gratefulness for his fans! Kip will stay at the merch table for hours after shows to sign autographs and meet every single fan that wants to meet him. Now that’s something special! The list of artists who do things like that is very small and Kip definitely doesn’t have to do it, but he still does! I’ve met some amazing friends at Kip’s shows and I always leave feeling inspired, so trust me when I say you don’t want to miss the Wild Ones Tour! My fellow Minnesotans can grab tickets to the upcoming Mankato, MN show here, and for a list of other tour stops check out Kip’s site!
