Alisa Star was born and raised in Alexandria, MN. Music is Alisa’s true passion and she has been singing and writing songs since she was a kid. Her original music holds a great mixture of dirt kickin’ country and southern rock. Alisa has had the privilege to remain a returning artist at Moondance Jammin’ Country Fest for several years.
Not only have several of her original songs been on regular play on various radio stations, she was asked to be the special guest on the Connie Lee Stich Live Radio show, which airs on Bob FM. Alisa has several years of experience playing and performing as the lead vocalist in the mid-west club circuit for a highly recognized cover/original band. In 2012 Alisa teamed up with the very talented James (Buck) Berger to get her originals completed. Buck put his creativity and musical talents to Alisa’s lyrics.
