This Friday our listed band Unbroken is taking their show on the road! For good reasoning too! They will be opening for National act Steel Magnolia at St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake, WI! It is an honor for any band to open up for a National act, and we are proud to say Unbroken is a part of our band listing!
Steel Magnolia rose to stardom after winning the television talent show Can You Duet in 2009. Meghan Linsey, a native of Ponchatoula, LA, formed the duo with her boyfriend Joshua Scott Jones whom she met while serving as a karaoke host in a Nashville bar. After their Can You Duet win, they signed with Big Machine Records, which released their debut single “Keep on Lovin’ You” in August 2009. A second single, “Just by Being You (Halo and Wings),” followed almost a year later in July 2010. In between the release of their first two singles, the duo released a self-titled EP early in 2010, followed by a slew of singles, including the digital download-only singles “Just By Being You,” “It’s Christmas Time” and “Last Night Again.”
Unbroken – After playing in some well regarded Twin Cities area country/rock bands, the boys decided to come together to knock a little dust off of the local country music scene.
With a “stand on it son” approach to today’s hits and yesterday’s classics, Unbroken will have the dance floor shakin’. See below for more information about this show…
