Dubbed the biggest night in country music, last night’s broadcast of the 47th Annual CMA Awards recognized this year’s top performers. As expected, hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley provided an entertaining evening filled with witty pop culture banter and performances by country legends and newcomers alike.
But how did the winners of the night’s awards fare in terms of customer demand in CD purchases? Amazon.com looked at each artist ranking on the Amazon’s Movers & Shakers List for Music after the show ended*. Updated hourly, the Movers & Shakers list shows the biggest gainers in sales rank over the past 24 hours.
