There will be a very special tribute during this years CMA Awards!
George Strait and Alan Jackson will be paying tribute to George Jones at the 47th Annual CMA Awards.
The County Music Association announced that the stars will team up to remember the late country legend during next month’s award show.
Strait is the top CMA Award nominee of all time, and has a bid for Entertainer of the Year heading into this year’s event.
Jones died earlier this year in Nashville at the age of 81.

Other new additions to the CMA lineup include Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, and Kacey Musgraves, while hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will also perform. Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean are also on board for the show.
The 47th annual CMA Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Nashville, and air on ABC on November 6th.
