A few weeks ago, we got a special invitation from Kenny Jay at BUZ’N 102.9 to stop by their studio Minneapolis, and check out a private acoustic show from Jennifer Nettles!
Invites like this don’t usually happen for us, so we (Brandon, and Karleen) were quite excited about this!
Kenny mentioned it would be a private acoustic show. He said the show would be in the Cambria Gallery on 7th Studio in Minneapolis, MN just one floor below the actual BUZ’N 102.9 studios, and food would be served as well.
Unsure what to expect once we got there, we were very impressed with the Cambria Gallery on 7th Studio. This is a prime location for intimate, acoustic shows, and it was a great sounding room as well!
Not long after our arrival, Jennifer Nettles was on stage and ready (really excited) for all of us to hear some of the new music off of her upcoming album, including her first single titled “That Girl,” which will playing on BUZ’N 102.9 and stations all over in no time!

With her amazing voice, we knew it would sound great, but were not sure about what the actual songs would sound like.
Well, we can promise you that the songs are as great as her voice, and you as well as country fans all over will surely love the new music from Jennifer! We can’t say much more, but be sure to get yourself an album when it comes out! You WILL be happy!
Jennifer also did a quick Q&A with the small audience, which was great as people got the chance to ask her about anything they’ve ever wanted.

Following the show, we were fortunate enough to meet Jennifer upstairs in the CBS lobby for a moment. She is a great woman, and really has high hopes for her new solo album.
After everything with Jennifer had settled, we thought it would be pretty sweet to see where BUZ’N country music comes from. Believe it or not, this was our first time ever being inside a radio station. When we asked Kenny to show us around,he didn’t hesitate for one second. Off we went!
He took us on a two floor tour of the station, and other CBS stations there as well! Pretty neat to see where the music you hear at work, in the car, at home, etc, actually comes from. It’s truly amazing how high tech things are!
More than just a great DJ, Kenny was a great tour guide as well! Along the way TJ even joined in on the tour with us!
We learned a lot, and laughed a lot with the two throughout our little tour! We had an absolute blast!

Throughout the show and our little tour, we also ran into Fish, Paul Koffy, Shayne Wells, and more! All great people, very inviting, and showed us great hospitality while we were there.
