Mercury Records recording artist Billy Currington has released the video for his hit single “Hey Girl.”Shot in Nashville, Tennessee, the video, directed by Kristin Barlowe, portrays the flirty and carefree feel of the song and can be viewed here. “Hey Girl” is the first single from Currington’s new album, We Are Tonight (September 17) and is one of the Top 10 best-selling debut tracks this year.
“Hey Girl” was written by Rhett Akins, Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano and produced by Dann Huff. Currington explains why he was drawn to the song and shares studio footage from the recording of this album below.
Currington is a Grammy nominated and Platinum selling artist whose No. 1 singles include “Don’t,” “Good Directions,” “Let Me Down Easy,” “Must Be Doin’ Something Right,” “People Are Crazy,” “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer” and “That’s How Country Boys Roll.”
